Church Executive Board
The Church Executive Board is responsible for the matters of St. Sava Church. The parish priest and Circle of Serbian Sisters president are automatically members of the board, responsible for the spiritual matters of the church and the Circle of Serbian Sisters, respectively. The other board members are elected by the members of the church and administer the non-spirtual aspects of operation. These duties include building and grounds activities, i.e., upkeep of the church property, financial affairs, and other administrative concerns. Annual events sponsored by the Executive Board are the church slava and church anniversary celebrations, as well as the church picnic. In addition, they hold the Easter luncheon and Christmas Eve gathering. Special Endeavors Recent projects that the Executive Board tackled include maintenance of the church property. Exterior maintenance included landscaping improvements, brick-work repairs, and tuck-pointing. Interior building maintence covered minor repairs and updates topped off with a finish of fresh paint and varnish.

Terms are for 1 year. The membership and Executive Board meet in May and in September. An annual meeting is held the first week in February for board member elections and the presentation of annual reports. In addition, the Executive Board meets throughout the year as needs dictate. The Executive Board is there to support the St. Sava Church community and those interested in the Orthodox faith. Feel free to get in touch with Fr.
